1. Who we are

2. What we collect

When you start a search, ask for an estimate, or contact us:

• Your name and phone number — the phone is the only field we insist on, because that is how Eugene calls you back.
• Your email, if you give us one or pay through Stripe.
• What you told us you want — models, budget, whether FSD matters, your timing, and anything you typed in a message.
• A VIN or licence plate, if you ran a check or asked about a specific car.
• Details of a car you want to sell — mileage, condition, ZIP code — if you asked for an estimate.

Payment card numbers never reach us. Stripe handles the card and tells us only that a payment succeeded.

3. Why we have it

To call you back, to run your search, to keep your brief in front of the people working it, to take payment, and to answer you when you get in touch. That is the whole list.

4. Who else sees it

We use a small number of processors, each for one job:

• Stripe — payments and receipts.
• Intercom — support conversations, so your messages have a history.
• Airtable — where your brief and the cars we find for you live.
• Telegram — internal alerts to our own team when a new request arrives.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. Beyond the processors above, we disclose it only when you ask us to (to a seller or lender, as part of your purchase) or when the law requires it.

5. How long we keep it

For as long as your search is live, and afterwards as long as we need it for tax, DMV and dealer record-keeping — California requires dealers to retain transaction records. Enquiries that never became a search are cleared out once they are plainly stale.

6. Do Not Track

Some browsers send a Do Not Track signal. There is no shared standard for honouring it, so we do not respond to it — but we also do not track you across other websites, and we do not let advertisers do so here.

7. Your choices

Ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — call (424) 282-1599 or email info@cleardealev.com. We will not make your life harder for asking. We may need to keep records the law requires us to keep, and we will tell you if that applies.

8. Children

This is a service for car buyers. It is not directed at anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

9. Changes

If we change this policy materially, we will post the new version here with a new effective date.
